Prerequisite: Medical Professional License (MD, RN, RPN)

  • History of dermal fillers

  • Facial anatomy: muscle, nerve and blood supply

  • Understanding the Acts, regulations, guidelines

  • Discuss categories and types of Dermal Filler products

  • Different injection techniques and safety issues

  • Discuss management and treatment of complications

  • Discuss options for pain management

  • Pre-post treatment recommendations

  • Medical safety kit checklist

  • Aseptic technique

  • Before-and-after photos

Practical application on live models provided by the college:

  • Demonstration of patient consultation

  • Completion of waiver forms

  • Patient selection criteria

  • Proper SOAP charting

  • Indications and contraindications

  • Demonstration of dermal filler syringing techniques

  • Injection on live models:

    • Marionette Lines

    • Lip augmentation

    • Nasolabial Folds

    • Cheek re-volumization
