This comprehensive certificate course is designed to teach a RN, RPN or a Medical Doctor a variety of application
techniques for facial injectables.

Prerequisite: Medical Professional License (MD, RN, RPN)

Theory lecture includes:

  • Introduction to medical aesthetic industry

  • Understanding the regulations and guidelines

  • Facial anatomy: muscle, nerve and blood supply

  • Discuss the history, safety, and reconstitution of BOTOX

  • Discuss the indications, risks and benefits of Botox for both upper & lower face

  • Different injection techniques and safety issues

  • Discuss treatment complications

  • Discuss client pain management options

  • Medical safety kit checklist

  • Aseptic technique

  • Pre-treatment instructions

Practical clinic includes:

  • Demonstrate patient consultation

  • Complete client waiver forms

  • Patient selection criteria

  • Before-and-after photo guidance and techniques

  • Botulinum Toxin reconstitution techniques

  • Post-treatment instructions

  • Injection on live models:

    • Glabellar frown lines

    • Forehead lines

    • Brow Lift

    • Crow’s feet
